Oak Tree - Holm / Evergreen

This rounded, evergreen tree has dark green, lance- shaped leaves and smooth dark grey bark. The new, silver-white foliage appears in June along with the golden-yellow male catkins. The younger leaves are slightly serrated but become smoother as they mature. Small bunches of rounded acorns follow in autumn, either singularly or in bunches. This is an excellent evergreen tree for coastal situations.
